Woolworths Southlands

I went to the Woolworths I bought some bread when I went to pay there was this person who was crying because she couldn't do her work properly she was taking 1 minute to scan one item and ten minutes to get the change. When it was finally my turn she dropped the bags tried charging me for the bags when I had my own, and I asked for some vegimite coins she said she didn't have any I saw some in her till I told here there was some there she tried denying it then she gave me one I asked for more she said one was the max she could give me. She could barely walk why even hire anyone like that?

One of the best Woolworths around.Great selection, nicest bakery and staff are super nice.Easy to manage store in a good location.Parking is abundant. Click and collect has gotten much quicker, and most of the front desk staff are always helpful.Its always a quick and easy visit without all the hassle or backed up shopping lines.

I would like shout out to Jo, one of the team members I met at Woolworths Southland this afternoon. I was buying some sanitary products for my wife and for some reason my card didnt work. Jo kindly footed my bill. I was deeply touched and extremely grateful.She requested me to pass on the kindess which I definetly do.Thank you again Jo, you made my day!

This is my local store and has the most amazing people working there. Nothing is ever too much of trouble.

Well stocked and clean. But poor deli staff was clearly having a bad day. Also kept getting electrocuted with static. We left early and went to Coles instead because the static was really frustrating. A painful grocery shopping experience.

An hour ago I was being discriminated against by the older staff that works here, her name was Karen. Go figure.Here’s what happened. I live close by the shop and did some shopping for snacks. Pringles were on a discount.Upon paying at the self checkout, suddenly Karen approached me and asked to do a bag search on me. I opened my sling bag for her to see.Then she asked to empty my pockets which I did.Then she asked if I have razors in my pockets. The reason she asked that was because apparently (according to them) someone was placing razors in other people’s shopping bags.However, it is not within their rights as a staff to ask such question to their patrons!Their rights only extend to matter of checking patrons’ bags and receipts (if they had reasonable suspicion), everything else is a police matter. A civilian cannot enforce the rights of a policeman.Even a patron have the right to refuse being searched unless the store had evidence of them shoplifting.Not only did they abused their rights against me as a patron, Karen told me multiple times that “I don’t believe I’ve done anything wrong”!I felt so discriminated against, simply because of how I looked, they’re implying that I’m a criminal with that discriminatory question.I wanted to get what happened in writing so I could take them to the court of law under the discrimination act.Karen said she didn’t have to give anything to me in writing.Then I asked her: “if you think you’ve done no wrong then why are you reluctant to write an account of what happened?”Her reply was “I don’t want to speak with you again”, and immediately stormed off.They called the police on me, and the police number was 00196938.Southlands Boulevard Shopping Centre & Woolworths should remind their renters and staffs on their basic rights and not to enforce above their rights.Very disappointed and felt very discriminate at the whole incident…Very horrible experience

Not happy with this store now doing shelve restocking during opening hours.It was cramped in some Isles and had to shop around stock on the floor.

Good service, comfortable shopping. A nice Woolies’ branch with good staffs. I know most of these staffs are part-timers. Hope that they can keep their good ones.

It has Prime, that's an instant 5 stars! Prime tastes like cough medicine so I drink it when I'm sick, but the funny thing is I just feel sicker afterwards idk why :/
